The Making of RCK$TAR
Every brand has a beginning. For RCK$TAR, it started in 2014 on the South Side of Chicago with a tablet, a toy DJ controller from Walmart, and a dream that seemed bigger than reality.
While most kids were playing video games, RCK$TAR was learning how to control a crowd. What started as a hobby quickly became an obsession. Every year brought new equipment, new opportunities, and a new level of growth. From family events and local functions to larger stages and bigger audiences, the vision continued to expand. As the years went on, DJing became more than music. It became a platform. A way to connect people, create memories, and bring energy into every room. Through countless hours of practice, performances, and learning the craft, RCK$TAR developed a style built around reading crowds, creating moments, and delivering experiences people talk about long after the music stops.
In 2025, the journey took a major step forward with the move from Chicago to Montgomery, Alabama to attend Alabama State University. What began as a new chapter quickly became an opportunity to leave a mark. Within his first year, RCK$TAR became the Official Athletics DJ for Alabama State University, bringing a new level of energy to game day experiences and becoming a recognizable name across campus. From football games and major campus events to nightlife, concerts, and community celebrations, the mission has remained the same: create unforgettable moments wherever the music takes him.
Today, RCK$TAR is continuing to build a brand that extends far beyond the DJ booth. With roots in Chicago and a growing presence throughout the South, he is focused on expanding his reach, elevating every event he touches, and building a legacy one crowd at a time.
